Established in 2001, Hockley Street Studios provide quality music rehearsal space, audio recording and production, music lessons, equipment repair, live performances and jam nights, all in a friendly, professional environment.The Birmingham business was started (and is still run) by musicians so frustrated by the lack of decent, affordable practice space in the West Midlands that they decided to create their own – a professional environment that was fun to be in, a place where musicians come to play.Many well-known acts have rehearsed here over the years, including indie gods The Wonder Stuff and the Joy Division-esque Editors.
