Pullingers Stationers was established in 1850 and is the oldest surviving business in Farnham, Surrey. The last Pullinger to own the business sold it to The Farnham Castle Newspaper Group in 1979 upon his retirement. The business was then sold again to the Watson family in 1993 and has remained under their ownership till the present day. The year 2000 saw expansion when the Kingston Art Centre was purchased from the retiring owner. This shop in Fife Road, Kingston-upon-Thames has now been renamed Pullingers Art Shop. Further expansion came in August 2004 when the third shop, also Pullingers Art Shop was opened for business in Epsom. This move confirmed Pullingers as the dominant supplier of art and writing materials in Surrey. 2008 sees the next stage of growth when Pullingers opens an online store. Over the years Pullingers has gained a reputation for quality, customer service and value for money.
