The Small Move Company was established in 2005 by husband and wife Calvin Groves and Emma Phillips. When we first started the business we were initially a "man and van" working out of our home office. As the business started to take off, we quickly realised that we would like the business to become a full removal company. With this in mind we started the ball rolling by recruiting our first members of staff who we're proud to say are still with us today, adding more vehicles and looking for premises. We found an ideal location at Avonmouth, Bristol which gives us great road links for our local Bristol removals as well as great motorway links for our long distance removals. Our initial aim was to become a leading removal company specialising in smaller moves but during our time in business we have grown from strength to strength, so we thought why stop there? So despite our name, we carry out removals for 1-5 bedroom properties as well as commercial removals and are well on our way to achieving our new vision of becoming a leading removal company in the South West. We know we can achieve this by hiring excellent staff, having a can-do attitude, having fantastic customer service and by offering a good value for money service.
