Verandah is a collective of Norfolk based designers. We stock a wide range of innovative and often unique products which include sophisticated textiles, collectable ceramics, quirky jewellery and original prints.The name "Verandah" comes from a book by Rumer Godden called "Kingfishers catch Fire". The heroine moves her family into the mountains in India to a pink painted villa called Dilkush. Her children are in danger and her servants swindle and try to poison her-but from her "Verandah" all looks calm and beautiful."Could I live here?" asked Sophie. "Dare I? Why, anything could happen" but already the idea was putting new life into her...Our Norwich shop has been open for five years now and our Holt shop was opened in May 2010.
