A warm welcome awaits you at Harrogate’s independent coffee and tea house. Bean & Bud combines quality ingredients with a passion for excellence, individuality and attention to detail to ensure that you get the very best cup of coffee or tea.Expert trained baristas including owners Ruth and Hayden give care, attention to detail and passion to every cup. If you’re not sure what to order we will always recommend which beans and which drink to choose so you always get a great experience.

We make a range of sandwiches fresh on the premises every morning, using local suppliers for bread, cheese, meat, salad and chutney. We use gourmet cheeses including local specialities. We have a tempting range of cakes and traybakes, including our home-made Fat Rascals (a cross between a scone and a rock cake) cheese & herb scones, and lots more home made goodies. Gluten free requirements are also catered for in some of our large cakes, the delicious Honeybuns range of gluten-free traybakes and Ruth’s rapidly-becoming-famous home-baked amaretti biscuits and indulgent home-made brownies! We also bake croissants and pastries each morning, including the popular Pastel de Nata, a gorgeous Portuguese custard tart.

We use independent, knowledgeable suppliers who share our passion, and always search out the best quality, ethically and directly sourced products and ingredients.We take any leftover food at the end of each day to Harrogate Homeless Shelter.Bean & Bud was awarded 4 Cups (Excellent) in the 2013 Beverage Standards Awards.
