History:

Betteridge & Milsom are a Chartered Quantity Surveying practice based in Canterbury, Kent. We have been established for over 20 years and provide a comprehensive service to our clients.Ray Milsom joined Widnell & Trollope’s Canterbury office as a trainee in 1968. Whilst working for Widnell, Ray had sojourns working in some of the overseas offices including such exotic postings as Oman and Brussels.George Betteridge left Burrell Hayward & Budd in 1982 and joined the Canterbury office of Widnell & Trollope where he met Ray. In late 1985 George left, soon to be joined by Ray. They formed Betteridge & Milsom in 1986.Paul Gannaway joined Betteridge & Milsom in 1989 and became a Chartered Surveyor in 1997 having studied at Anglia Polytechnic University.In 2005 Keith Robertson, the Managing Director of Burrell Hayward & Budd, decided to retire and the interest in the practice was purchased by George & Ray. The name Burrell Hayward & Budd was retained in the short term.In April 2007 the two practices merged to form Betteridge & Milsom Ltd, of which, Ray Milsom, Paul Gannaway and Andrew Walker are the current Directors.
