Cals Own Brooklyn Style Pizza Restaurant is owned and operated by Calvin. Our premises are situated within Chillingham Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne.Calvin is a self entrepeneur who is passionate about Pizza.Before I opened Cals Own I was in a bit of a pickle. There were so many eateries serving mediocre food at extortionate prices, and no where to turn for salvation. Then it hit me. If you want something done right, do it yourself.I would come home each night from my job in construction with a bag full of materials and experiment in the kitchen using ideas I had developed from TV and my favourite online videos. At first I would fail but I would try again and again, meticulously researching and testing new methods while gaining even more knowledge about the foods I was preparing. It came to the point where I knew I had to concentrate on one of the most loved but equally neglected foods of all in the UK - pizza.
