Since the 1920s, Charles Bright has offered the town of Peterborough and the surrounding district a fine selection of high quality and distinctive jewellery and Wedding Bands, especially 18-carat Gold but also 9-carat Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium. As well as fine Diamond and coloured Gemstone Rings, Pendants, Bracelets, Brooches, Necklets - all the various items you would expect from a traditional, independent jewellers - we also carry more modestly-priced pieces set with semi-precious stones - or no stones at all.We are glad to be able to report that ALL the diamonds we sell are sourced in accordance with the stipulations of the Kimberley Process and its System of Warranties guaranteeing that they are "Conflict Free".While we firmly believe jewellery has to be seen and handled to be fully appreciated, we are delighted to be able now to extend our personal service to this website, giving you the opportunity to buy on-line from us, safe in the knowledge that you will receive the same traditional personal service that our customers have enjoyed over many years when visiting our shop. Our customers appreciate the quality of our jewellery and, so that you can be sure of what you're buying, our knowledgeable staff are always happy to help you select that special gift whenever you choose to visit us. You will find a far wider selection in the shop than we can show on-line and you are encouraged to come and visit us. Most items shown are individual “one offs” so, if you want to buy what you see, you are encouraged to do so. However, certain items can be repeated.If you are not sure just what you're looking for or would like to have any alterations or a "special commission" made up, we'll be happy to discuss your requirements and will gladly provide sketches with prices prior to undertaking the necessary work. Computer Aided Design and production (CAD-CAM) facilities are also available, so you can have anything you want designed, costed and even made up - if you like the look of it.Together with our usual selection of Silver Giftware, our ranges have recently been extended to include high quality Silver Jewellery, some by Bastian inverun made in Germany, some set with semi-precious stones. You will also find an exciting and ever popular collection of affordable modern hand-made Murano Glass jewellery by Antica Murrina.Your jewellery and watch repairs will be carried out by our skilled and expert craftsmen. Although we no longer sell watches, we do undertake the service and repair of clocks and watches, including OMEGA and other high-end brands, as well as battery renewal and strap replacement carried out on the premises.We hope to hear from you or to see you here soon!
