Joseph Page and his daughter Sandra reopened the doors of Chelmer Cleaners in 2007 after it had been closed by the previous owner. After finding the shop in disrepair a full refurbishment was carried out and the installation of a new Dry Cleaning machine, finishing equipment and the introduction of a fine self service Launderette.

After many years of hard work, rebuilding the business and introducing new services and ideas Chelmer Cleaners is now a very busy and thriving shop one more.

More recently Gary Marsh the original proprietor of the shop in 1990 has returned and along with Sandra are expanding the shop even further with the introduction of jewellery.Gary who run the shop for 10 years in the 90′s left the industry to go into the Jewellery trade in the West End of London. After many successful years and having joined forces with Sandra they have installed a jewellery workshop, combined the two businesses and in 2013 opened GS Jewellery (London).
