I am a qualified integrative counsellor/psycotherapist with a Diploma of Higher Education in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Leedsmet University and am a member of the BACP. I work in the Knaresborough, Harrogate, ripon and Wetherby areas of North Yorkshire. Individuals can easily become overwhelmed by lifes many pressures and when these interfere with our daily life this is when people often seek counselling. Some of the many reasons clients look for help are:Depression/stress/relationship issues/anxiety/bereavement/low self-esteem & self-confidence/obsessive compulsive disorders/the effects of childhood traumaMy aim is to provide an Iimpartial, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings in order to enable you to become more self aware and to move forward through your issues and ultimately, with your lifeI have experience of working with a variety of issues and with a diverse client group from teenagers through to the elderly.
