Established in 1987 by Lee Clarke, Countrywide has been providing both domestic and commercial customers with high quality flooring installations from their base in Bournemouth, Dorset, for more than 25 years.Having started working as an apprentice with a flooring company at the tender age of 16, Lee quickly learned all about traditional flooring methods and was part of a team that fitted flooring aboard the QE2 and in hotels like the Sandbanks and Chine.After spending five years as a sole trader, Lee decided to capitalise on the high level of recommendations for quality workmanship that he had received and establish his own company. Testament to this was our completion of the challenging Achilles accreditation scheme.Although based in Bournemouth and working regularly in the Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire and Hampshire region, we work nationwide and even venture into Europe for occasional large projects.
