'Coventry Demolition Company', (a division of Mossmead Ltd) is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of cast iron radiators, cast iron radiator valves & cast radiator accessories as well as many other reclaimed and reproduction period products.
Established in the mid 1980’s and for well over 28 years, we have built up a successful business supplying reclaimed and quality reproduction products through our Architectural Centre in the Midlands and through our own web site
. As well as being specialists in cast iron radiators, cast iron radiator valves and accessories, we also offer solid wood flooring and cottage doors, Victorian style door furniture, as well as unique architectural items including reclaimed bricks and tiles.
As a family run business based in the heart of the Midlands, we have established ourselves as one of the leading suppliers of reclaimed period materials and high quality reproduction pieces to assist the renovation and building of projects large and small, commercial and residential. These principles have enabled us to build a broad base of public and trade customers locally and more recently, with the advent of our website, nationally and internationally. We always take sourcing the materials and products we sell very seriously.
As we are also an active demolition company, we do source a large proportion of our reclaimed stock ourselves, including bricks, roofing products, flooring etc as well individual unique reclaimed pieces.
Being a member of Salvo, we ensure that we obtain the provenance and origin of items we buy where at all possible and adhere to the Salvo Code.
In addition to the reclaimed products, we have spent many years sourcing or re-commissioning original items and designs which can no longer be bought freely or in sufficient numbers, such as our period style door knobs, ironmongery & cast iron radiators.
Many have been faithfully re-created and improved to meet the demands of today, but still maintain their authentic period charm and are being supplied to members of the public and also national pub chains such as JD Wetherspoons and large developers such as City and Country.
As we commission many of our products direct from the manufacturers in considerable quantities this enables us to pass on substantial savings to our customers for many identical items being sold elsewhere on the net for much higher prices.
