Nationally the current status of the commercial and non-commercial market is fraught with insolvencies and bankruptcies. The international credit crisis is forcing a consistant increase of economy inflation. There are more and more SME businessess who are being placed into insolvency or bankruptcy as proven in the commercial economy statistic reports over the last decade ,this creates a vicious circle of slow payers, non-payers and potentially further collapse of SME businesses due to various industry related debt. This makes it a struggle for those still trading within related industries to profit effectively. SME business and cashflow can be affected mostly through non-payers and slow payers which then turns potentially into bad debts which has to be written off by the company at a loss if not collected. It is hard for our potential clients to monitor each account whilst getting on with the day to day running of their business.
CPS can assist our registered clients in identifying a potential bad debt before it occurs by monitoring companies. On request we provide our clients with an unlimited extensive corporate search facility, informing our clients of any present companies status and specifics of applicants and directors such as previous companies or irregularities of trading accounts or default history. So our client can make an informed decision of how to handle the account. This enables CP Services to potentially advise and monitor the account on behalf of our client and source the collection of the account if it becomes overdue, before the debtor becomes potentially insolvent or bankrupt. Which if not monitored and pursued correctly may force the client to write the debt off as a further loss to the company. CPS assist the debtor to realise the collection procedure of an outstanding account or outstanding debt. Clear communication and correctly sourced correspondance by our credit control is followed by arbitration by our litigation team if and when required before further instruction from the client and legal action is taken. CPS credit control gives the debtor the opportunity to resolve the debt and explains the consequence of non payment or non compliance. Nine times out of ten the collection procedure resolves payment of the account or debt as this is the objective of CPS before further instruction from the client to take court action.
