We have both been making and fitting top quality hand-made furniture and kitchens for many years, giving us a wealth of hands-on experience of every aspect of the process. With Davenport Kitchens, we bring this experience to you whether you are looking for an huge entirely hand-built project straight out of ‘Beautiful Kitchens’ magazine, or are working on a tight budget for a tiny but lovely kitchen in more humble surroundings. By combining elements made by us in our workshop with others from selected specialist manufacturers we are able to bring you a truly bespoke solution at an affordable price. As cabinetmakers our natural affinity is for wood. We make kitchen doors and drawer fronts in a wide range of beautiful hardwoods and in whatever style you choose. Painted kitchens are primed in our spraying facility in the workshop and either hand-painted on site or given a spray finish before delivery. We avoid the type of plastic foil-wrapped chipboard doors seen in DIY sheds and most kitchen showrooms.  While a marginally cheaper option, they have a tendency to ‘delaminate’ in time and become very tatty.  They are also only available in standard sizes, making it impossible to provide a truly bespoke service.
