As a little girl I have always grown up with animals. I have had horses since the age of 7, so needless to say I have always been on farms and been around an array of farm animals, as well as the many domestic animals we had at home. I have an absolute passion for animals and their welfare; I always seem to be able to connect with them as they do with me. As my many hard working years have gone by, I have been able to achieve goals and dreams by working, learning and achieving qualifications. In June 2007, I completed my Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care, which I passed with a distinction. I found myself very lucky enough to be invited to Rochdale town hall where I was presented with an award for student of the year by a soap star.During the years that I spent studying, and following the completion of my Diploma, I have gained knowledge and experience by working with the RSPCA, within a veterinary practice, at Blackpool zoo and with the animal welfare section at Oldham MBC, each of which can be contacted for any references. Knowledge and experience has gladly been gained whilst working with experts and professionals in all different backgrounds and situations not only with animals but with people in difficult social situations.
