Dogs Palace originally known as The Groom Room was established in February 2005. The company has since excelled in its success and has gained an enviable reputation.

Carolyn Price of Nailsea, first set up her modest dog grooming business called The Groom Room, in an old rented outbuilding in Portishead in 2005. With determination and a pure love of working with dogs, Carolyn had every intention of making her business a success.

With the confidence that she had been trained to the highest standard of dog grooming, at a City and Guilds approved Centre, and with her kindness and love for dogs she set about building her business, it wasn’t long before people discovered her talent for grooming and the level of care and service that she gave each client and their dog.

 People started coming from far and wide with their beloved dogs for appointments at The Groom Room. Carolyn says “I often worked until 9.00 at night which was tough in the winter, and even on Sundays if it meant making things more convenient for a client”
