Our produce is both local and regional; seeking the very best we can from within the UK.Quality of ingredients and their provenance is paramount.

Steve’s cooking is very different from the classic styles of where he trained and is now very personal and unique to Drake’s RestaurantIn December 2013 Serina and Steve took the opportunity to purchase their local, The Anchor in Ripley, installing Michael Wall-Palmer as head chef (formerly Drakes), serving simple flavour focused food and some of Steve past signature dishes.

Drakes has consistently held a Michelin star since we opened and also features in the top 100 UK Restaurants
