About MeI set up my private practice in 1986 and provided pre and post contract services on refurbishment and new build projects for my clients in London and the Home Counties.Since 1991 I have mainly concentrated on estimating on Design and Build on social housing projects, ranging between £0.5M and £6M - co-ordinating the entire design process with the consultants, from the contract being awarded to final approval of the contractors proposals. This includes monitoring the design development in accordance with the Employer's Requirements, Building Control and the local planning authority, also dealing with HAPM and NHBC if required. I have also provided valuations on behalf of my clients for funding from banks, building societies and private finance companies.Since 1994 I have provided NHER and SAP calculations for new and refurbished dwellings, issuing EPC certificates all in accordance with the Building Regulations Part Ll A and LIB.I am also a commercial energy assessor and provide EPC certificates for commercial buildings to be constructed, sold or let. I have also provided SBEM calculations for numerous new build commercial buildings in accordance with the Building Regulations Part L2A.
