Originally founded in the 1930s, Gainsborough Flooring is draped in history.

From the 1950s, under the name PMC (Carpets) Ltd, the company was based at 33 Shepherd Street, making sales to the trade. Many people in Preston claim to still have carpets in their home from this era!Moving forward, to 1970, when Sheila and Eddy Brown settled on the name Gainsborough Flooring, which is now run by the brother and sister team of Eddy and Vicky. We are a true family business, with a huge number of years’ experience between us. We pass our advice on in a truly friendly, professional manner.Now operating from new premises at 26 Heatley Street (see map)  (link to map) in Preston, Eddy and Vicky run the family flooring firm with a passion and pride they enthuse to their customers.Numerous teams of fitters are on hand, each with expertise in different aspects of flooring to support Gainsborough to allow them to offer a standard of fitting their customers have come to expect.
