Who we are

THE GM BROODER company is fully committed to completely modernising the way birds are currently raised in the UK. Our aim while we developed this unit has been to reduce the impact on our environment with lower heating costs, improve bird mortality rates and improve the overall welfare of the birds.  After extensive trials and a testing programme which has lasted over 5 years, THE GM BROODER has been refined and created using extensive knowledge from over 20 years’ experience of the Agricultural Industry and significant collaborative input from gamekeepers.  If you would like to speak to any one of our team, please click on the links below.

Matthew

Matthew Hudson, Managing Director THE GM BROODER, has been involved in the development of high welfare, intense farm housing for most, if not all, of his life.  Through this work, he has travelled extensively all over the world, working in all areas of the meat and dairy industries. Previously Matt created the legendary Hudson Sow Barn, which revolutionised the outdoor pig industry in the 90’s, with its high capacity of stock and its light and airy feel combined with good ventilation and the unique way the building can be collapsed and easily moved with several thousand being sold to date.
