Trusted for 10 years
GMA Warehousing and Transport began trading from a 7000 sq ft warehouse in 1987 under the stewardship of Steve Day and Glenn Appleby. The business soon gathered momentum, staff numbers doubled and shortly after another 5000 sq ft warehouse was secured on the same site. Then just three years later, GMA acquired Ipswich Transit Express, a locally based warehousing and distribution company. A determined policy of continuous investment in new equipment, an emphasis on delivering personal service and a commitment to keep developing market-leading services even further has been the cornerstone to GMA's controlled growth. And, of course, retaining a wide-ranging, loyal customer base has played a big part in our success.
