Gordons is a family-run business that has its roots as far back as the 1800s when they made horse-drawn carriages. They started selling and maintaining Ford motorcars back in 1911 so can now offer its customers over 100 years experience. Gordons has always been in the same family and they have built their reputation on customer care, trust, familiarity and honesty.

We now have four sites, all in Lancashire at Bolton, Wigan, Horwich and Walkden. Gordons offer motorists the complete one-stop-shop for all their motoring needs. We have the complete range of new Ford cars and commercial vehicles available, all backed by a comprehensive aftersales service that includes servicing, parts, and bodyshop. Our friendly sales staff are there to answer any questions you may have and you won’t feel pressurised in any way at all.

We also have a superb range of top-quality used Fords available - all models are carefully prepared before being offered for sale and come with appropriate warranties and MOTs if required.Gordons offer an excellent aftersales service with its well-equipped workshop facility providing MOTs, servicing, repairs and warranty work. All tasks are performed to the most exacting standards by their highly trained and experienced team of technicians.  

We also operate a Rapid Fit centre where you can have servicing and replacement parts like tyres, brakes and exhausts fitted while you wait.If you need a spare part or require a stylish accessory for your Ford, then Gordons parts’ department will happily oblige. The parts’ team maintain a large stock of spares on site and can supply out-of-stock items, usually within twenty-four hours. Gordons is also a Transit Service Centre. This means that they stay open until 9.00pm allowing busy customers the ability to drop off their vans in the evening after work and collect them the following morning. This minimises downtime for their businesses and is proving to be very popular with their commercial customers.

Car and van rental is another service we offer. All Ford models are available at very competitive rates including vans, diesels and automatics. Customers can also take advantage of our dealership’s collection and delivery service for rental vehicles.Gordons have a large business centre specifically designed to help business clients manage their vehicle fleets. Our fleet experts offer consultancy to help you find the best solution to your corporate fleet needs and we are able to tailor financial packages to meet all circumstances.

Gordons offer a comprehensive bodyshop and accident repair service to their customers. From a minor car park scrape to serious damage inflicted during a major accident, Gordons has the facility to quickly and simply put things right. Free, no-obligation quotes are available direct from our Accident Repair Centre and once you’ve decided to go ahead just drop your car off at Gordons and let us do the rest. You’ll be supplied with a courtesy car, if one is required, and you will be kept fully informed of the progress of the repair work.

Lastly – but by no means least Gordons operate three very successful Texaco Petrol Stations, at Bolton, Horwich and Walkden.
