Situated on the banks of the Rivers Avon and Nadder, Grasmere House is only a few minute’s walk from the centre of Salisbury and offers superb Cathedral views (voted “Best Views in Britain”). This beautiful building has been carefully converted and extended into a private hotel whilst retaining all the features and atmosphere of a comfortable Victorian home. A favourite venue for those wishing to spend time taking in the delights of Salisbury with its world famous Cathedral and its unique “Cathedral Close” (with its collection of award winning museums), and the surrounding Wiltshire countryside. Stonehenge and stately homes like Wilton House, Longleat, Broadlands and others are all in the area. Four bedrooms are fitted with luxurious 4-poster beds, some rooms are with extra pull-out beds to provide triple and quadruple family accommodation. Our accessible rooms are discreetly arranged for disabled guests including wheelchair access as graded by the ETB. There is also a 3-bedroom family sized apartment with full en-suite facilities and a separate lounge. The hotel also boasts the Conservatory Restaurant serving traditional English fare, with a modern eclectic twist. The Nadder Bar provides an ideal place for either a quaint Wiltshire Afternoon Tea or a naughty cocktail!
