After a long & overdue wait, in 2010 the perfect location became available just further up Great Horton Road from Oasis. This venue was bigger than Oasis and had a much greater footfall.However, with the Oasis brand synonymous amongst the student population, we wanted a new brand that would appeal to young professionals and the older generations within the area. Hence the birth of Hair Idols. For a short period we ran the two businesses as seperate brands but soon found that the Hair Idols brand and location was drawing many more customers. And so it was decided to close the Oasis Salon on Southbrook Terrace in late 2010 and focus entirely on Hair Idols, providing quality cuts, colouring, extentions and customer service as we have always done.
