Captain Kevan Banks and Vice Captain Mark Oldham invite you to play golf at Horwich Golf Club. Founded in 1895, by staff of the local Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company, the Club professes to be the oldest member of the Bolton Golf Association still using the same course. Horwich Golf Club is located just north of Bolton in Horwich nestled between Chorley Old Road and Victoria Road. Designed by George Lowe this hidden gem is a small, tight and tricky undulating moorland course with 18 tees playing to 9 excellent greens. From the higher holes it provides splendid views across the Lancashire basin. The course is in the best shape ever and is only going to get better. This year the club is working in partnership with ISS Services who provide our course management. We take immense pride in making certain that the course is always presented in a fabulous condition and despite the best attempts of the weather this course is seldom closed even when other local courses may be.
