The company founder and current Chairman, John C Wilkins, started out as a professionally qualified Quantity Surveyor, gaining wide experience of the industry working for leading contractors on major building and construction projects across our region.In 1993 John established JCW Floor Screeding, based in Gas Street, Bolton with just two floor screeding gangs and a small administrative team.

Over the last twenty years JCW Floor Screeding have installed over half a million tonnes of ready mixed floor screed on building and construction projects of every size and type across the UK, supplied by Tarmac, Cemex and Premier Mortars.Today the JCW Group, still privately and family owned, employs over 75 people. The Floor Screeding and Acoustic Supplies divisions having cemented themselves as leaders in the UK in their field, supplying services for every size of customer and application.John and his staff have meticulous standards and an enthusiastic work ethic. This, along with vast experience, technical expertise and a loyal, longstanding workforce has enabled the company to expand. This expansion has led to a healthy relationship with both high profile commercial clients and the increasingly importand self builders market.In the 2011 financial year, group companies generated a total sales turnover of £12 million pounds.
