Janimals was started in 1981 by Jan Robertshaw, She originally started out in her career with animals as a kennel maid with the Bradford Branch RSPCA, She later became a trustee, her voluntary activities have now spanned over 25 years for their cause of animal welfare in Bradford, She is now proud to be Hon. Vice president of the Bradford Branch.She trained as a Veterinary nurse with the Thornbury Veterinary Group, (now Yorkshire Vet Group) Bradford and later as a S.E.N nurse at Bradford Royal Infirmary. Jan holds City and Guilds qualifications (with Distinction) in Dog Grooming and was a founder member of the Groomers Association of Great Britain.
