About our Club:

Kings Langley Bowls Club was founded back in 1925 and after a lot of hard work we now have one of the best greens in Hertfordshire. We still use a contractor to do the heavy work at the start and end of each season and also to carry out any chemical treatment that is required on the green. With a team of helpers, we do the day to day work of cutting the green and are able to carry out tining, spiking and all the other work necessary to keep the green in good condition. We have recently purchased a “green iron” and hope that this will help to increase the speed of the bowls and also will help to decrease the small bumps that tend to occur on most greens.
