In 2009 I set up a franchise of K9 Capers Petcare which I ran for 3 years before deciding to branch out on my own to establish Kingston K9’s, serving my local area with quality, reliable Pet Care.Prior to this I spent around 20 years working in the Music Industry in Public Relations, eventually running my own PR Company and working from home. This was when Murphy came into my world and life has never been the same again…I’m very pleased to say!Murphy is my 5 year old English Springer Spaniel. A working breed, straight off the farm, she was full of beans and ensured I threw myself into training with a passion! I joined Click’n’Treat classes in nearby Twickenham and found that we both loved learning and spending quality time together. I devoured Dog Training books and we started to enjoy Gundog Training too (nothing gets her more excited than when she sees my training bag!).Eventually I had the ‘lightbulb moment’ – while I’d enjoyed a great career in music quite frankly I’d had enough of late nights and pandering to pop stars, I would rather spend my days in the great outdoors pandering to pooches with Murphy and her pals. That’s when I set up my pet care business and I haven’t looked back.As for training, Murphy and I now help Click’n’Treat with their classes on a Wednesday evening.
