We’re delighted to be able to provide the means and motivation for people of all ages, shapes and sizes to get as fit as they can. We have 80 clubs across the UK and Ireland fitted with the latest Technogym equipment and personal training staff offering round the clock support. The result is fun, friendly and affordable places for our 200,000 members to train in. Most of our clubs hold over 40 free classes a week and are equipped with their own spin studio, swimming pools, sauna and steam rooms.Where did it all begin?The LA story started in 1990, when company founders Fred Turock, Jeremy Taylor and David Turner had a vision of creating gyms in convenient locations that could be used by everyone who shared one goal- improving fitness.The network officially became known as LA fitness in 1996, and since then the company has gone from strength to strength. In 1997, LA fitness smashed through into the top ten of health and fitness club operators in the UK, and by 1999 had firmly established itself as a leading player in the fitness market.
