Lulu’z is the culmination of a 5 year journey that started with a dream and the question ‘what if’.

For many years I was aa 9-5 worker always looking for the next challenge.I knew I wanted to do something but I wasn’t sure what if was. A dear friend once said to me ‘Knowing what you don’t want is good,you’re half way there’. That wasn’t enough for me – I wanted the whole picture. In 2007 I went on holiday to the enchanted city of Barcelona and fell in love with everything it had to offer. A chance meeting on the return flight helped me to clarify what my dream was and gave me the final incentive to begin pursuing it.

I returned to Barcelona and trained for 3 years under world-renowned Patissiere chefs Alejandro Mones and Pablo Iglesia. Together they taught me the beauty of fresh, organic food prepared with love.

I was inspired to open my own Patisserie but I wanted it to be more than that. My vision is to provide an environment where people can come and share with me what I consider to be some important aspects of life – a good relationship with food where you can learn through experiences and relaxing with friends. A place where people can come and rediscover their love of good food and children can come to understand what they’re eating, hence my wish to start educational and interactive classes for kids in the near future.

Five years after I started on this journey my dream is now a reality. Lulu’z is not just a patisserie but a message in positivity to everyone – Believe in yourself and follow that dream.
