Bringing a brand new restaurant  to Doncaster is Sunny Tunc, whose new venture the Mezze Bar and Grill opens on Nether Hall road on the site of the former Royal Dragon Chinese restaurant on November 15.Sunny, who has lived in the UK for ten years and has managed five restaurants in that time, said: “The potential for Mediterranean food in Doncaster is really high at the moment.“We’re going to bring a different style of restaurant to town – we want to entertain you as well as feed you.”As part of its agenda to amuse Mezze will feature belly dancing every Friday and Saturday plus traditional dancing and music from across the Med during the week.“We want our customers to have fun,” Sunny said. “we don’t want to be just a sit down sort of place.“I also think our place will be more authentic than other places – we’ll be offering something others don’t. I’m Turkish but we won’t be doing just Turkish food, there will dishes from all over the Mediterranean.”“This is a very personal project for us – we’ve put our heart and soul into it and I think people will realise that when they come here to eat.“We have a bar licence too, so if you just want a pint, you’ll be very welcome.”
