We are a friendly, family run riding school and livery yard approved by The British Horse Society, Association of British Riding Schools and The Pony Club. Established in 1976 by the Sharp family and today managed by their daughter Leigh Belbin, the centre has a long-standing love of horses and teaching people to ride.The Centre is set in the heart of Murton Village near Whitley Bay and the A19, with access to an array of country and beach hacking routes. On arrival you can expect to enter a comfortable environment where riders of all capabilities are welcomed by our friendly staff and horses. Based on our passion for horses and people, the centre’s ethos is to provide a positive learning experience, enabling riders to flourish in a supportive environment where they can develop life skills in addition to equestrian skills.
