Oyster Indoor Bowls Club was formed in 1988 and currently has around 530 bowling members and also about 120 social members. During the winter there are numerous leagues to participate in and for new bowlers there are competitions to help them improve their skills. At weekends there are friendly matches against other clubs and also Kent League matches against other indoor clubs around the county. There are social nights arranged on Sundays which include games nights, race nights, casino games and quiz nights. Also twice a year trips are arranged to the theatre in London to see a show.
