Rattle & Drum Music is an independent musical instrument retailer based in Derby, UK. Established in the nineties as a drum and percussion specialist, we are now one of the country’s leading musical instrument stores, keeping it simple and specialising in the key ingredients of all great music - guitar, bass and drums!We stock hundreds of acoustic, bass and electric guitars, a vast range of amps, pedals and accessories and we have one of the best drum and percussion showrooms in the UK. Our website is different to a lot of others - we do not list products that we don’t have in stock! This site is a virtual representation of our bricks and mortar store; everything you see is in stock in our shop, meaning you can browse here before coming to visit us to try or buy a product, and if you are purchasing online you can be sure the item is available and will dispatch to you quickly. We don’t waste your browsing time by claiming to have something in stock we don’t have! Of course, this doesn’t mean we can’t get you products that we don’t have listed. We can get you any product from any of the manufacturers we deal with as quickly and cheaply as our competitors! So if you’re after something we aren’t advertising please contact us, you’ll be glad you did! If you visit us in store you’ll see we try to be different. We know some music shops can be intimidating, we try not to be! Whether you are taking your first musical steps or looking for your dream custom-built instrument, all of our customers are equally important to us. We have a friendly team here with many years’ experience in the music industry; whatever question you have, we have someone who will be able to help.Being a part of the local music scene is also very important to us. We work with a number of schools and venues, and have our own rock school providing lessons to students of all ages.
