  • So, Redbarn – a small family company based in Inchture and Longforgan (two little villages just outside Dundee, in Scotland). Stuart and Gill Duncan set up a recording studio in 1994 in an old grain loft, part of the steading at Monorgan Farm. Lovingly refurbished by hand, it’s a comfortable, friendly little place which seems to suit the artistes and bands who come and record there down to the ground!Over the years, the family delved into new projects and industries. Gary (son), started designing websites and printy things at the age of 14. Since then he’s grown up, started some businesses, learned lots of new things, graduated, and merged all his hard earned skills and projects back into the family business.Primarily, we are a professional recording and production company. Located in quiet, comfortable, countryside surroundings, a short drive from Dundee Airport, an hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports – the studio strikes the balance between relaxed atmosphere and modern recording technology. Transport, catering and accommodation can easily be arranged for clients travelling to Red Barn.
