Each of the twelve sides is made up of a five pointed star.The symbol represents a number of aspects of the approach that we use in the diagnosis and treatment of the underlying imbalances leading to symptoms that result in people requiring our help.Collectively, there are many different interconnected networks that make up human beings. Nothing ever happens on its own. Everything connects to everything else in one way or another. Anything can cause anything. Through our system of assessments we investigate many of these links between different systems, such as muscles, joints, nerves, circulation, acupuncture meridians, nutritional and energy use: all of these need to be in balance if we are to heal and maximise our health and performance on all levels.You will see that the upper half of the logo is dark and surrounded by white. This relates to the Yang (outside). The lower half is light and surrounded by dark. This relates to the Yin element (inside). The whole of life, in oriental terms, is to achieve/maintain the balance of Yin and Yang. In our terms it relates to the balance between the Yang: the motor sensory system that controls our muscles and joints and all the factors that make us aware of our surroundings (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touch); and the Yin: the autonomic nervous system that is working 24/7, coordinating and running our heart, lungs, digestive system glands and organs without us mostly even being aware of it.To be healthy, all of these systems need to be working in accord.
