We have a good clientele now with regulars booking their next appointment when they collect their pride and joy.We have dogs and cats visiting us as regular as every 5 weeks to 8 weeks, depending on the breed and the service they require. Recently several groomers have closed down in the local area within a few miles of our parlour, which has brought us new clients.At Scruffs 2 Crufts, we understand how important it is to have a regular groomer to whom you and your pet become used to and happy with. We will do our best to help with any concerns or worries you may have with trusting someone new.Please feel free to bring treats or a special toy for them or anything that will help both you and your family pet with the transition.We have an increasing number of clients through recommendation from both our clients and local vets.At Scruffs 2 Crufts, we know your four legged friend is so much more than your family pet, they are your best friend, loyal and loving and always there to greet you when you come home. They become part of your family very quickly and take a place in your hearts too. Therefore they deserve the best when it comes to being groomed. Some are fine and love being pampered but for others they can’t wait to get dirty again. Some enjoy baths, some not so much. We understand each dog and cat is as individual as we are. Each pet has different needs and so will be treated as the individual they are during their time with us.We aim for every client to leave happy and looking forward to returning again with a happy, content, clean and fresh dog or cat in tow, having had a pleasurable experience with us at Scruffs 2 Crufts.We also understand how hard it can be for both owner and pet to be separated. Some cope fine, but for others it’s like leaving a child at nursery for the first time. Please rest assured that if we do need to contact you for any reason, we will. The wellbeing of your pet comes first.We have 16 years’ experience of dog and cat grooming. As you can imagine during this time, we have come across lots of different breeds of dogs and cats, with more and more new breeds coming about all the time.We have also had the pleasure of living with and looking after Poodles, Kerry Blue Terriers, Black Russian Terriers, Yorkshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Boxers, Wheaten Terriers, Shih Tzus and various mixed breeds, all of which are different in character and have different needs. We have several clients that ask us to look after their dogs when they go on holiday as they want a family environment for them to stay in and can’t bring themselves to put them in kennels. Some dogs cope with being in kennels, but some owners just can’t bring themselves to leave them there.They are happier to let us look after their pet. As we have a relationship with their pet already, they can go away knowing both their pet and themselves are going to have a good time.
