SJB Accounting specialises in helping business owners to improve their businesses and their lives through our proactive accountancy and tax services. We believe that being a great accountant is about meeting and speaking with you on a regular basis, being proactive to help you understand and measure your business numbers, and then helping you to improve the numbers. This creates a better life for all of the people that your business touches. We know that to be a great accountant it is not enough to sit in our office, simply sending out accounts and tax returns to you on time once a year, but with no other contact. Being a great accountant means getting to know your business and working alongside you.

In 2012 SJB Accounting started working with business owners in this way, to help improve their lives through proactive and collaborative accountancy services.

In our first year we won Best New Business 2013 in the Best Business Awards and were a finalist in the prestigious AVN Firm of the Year Award 2013.We are based in Reading, Berkshire and work with business owners in Reading and the Berkshire area.

When you work with us, you also help to change the lives of others through our partnership with global giving initiative Buy1 Give 1 (B1G1). Through your business you help us to 'give back' to society and make a difference to great causes as our services are linked with nearly 700 projects around the world.Through our giving partners, B1G1, every time a new client chooses us, a child in Africa automatically gets access to clean water for life. And every time we complete a tax return a child in India is educated for a week.
