St John’s URC Tennis Club is a medium sized club with currently around 130 members including juniors. It has three all-weather tarmacadam courts, two of which are floodlit. It is located in North East Ipswich.As well as many social tennis sessions per week there are regular other events including tennis drives (often followed by lunch or dinner), whist drives, walks and pub lunches, and a quiz.The club enters teams in the Summer and Winter leagues in the Ipswich and East Suffolk area.The Junior section provides coaching most days of the week.2014 is a particularly special year for us, being the club’s 80th anniversary, so more events are planned. Membership is highly affordable and guests are welcome to visit and see whether this is the club for them.
