Stage Sound Services has been trading for over 2 decades with Phil Hurley at the helm.The company currently employs 24 full time members of staff as well as an ever growing team of freelancers from all corners of the industry.Since its inception as a small Cardiff based hire company, Stage Sound Services has grown into a thriving sound and video hire/production company, providing equipment and technical specialists across the UK and abroad, with several high profile shows in London's West End and Equipment hire to shows shipping all over the world.In recent years, in partnership with our associated company Stage Lighting Services we have broadened our profile to provide services to the Events and Production industries as well as TV and Film. We are the largest independent supplier of Sound, Video, Lighting, Staging and Set in Wales and provide a complete one stop shop for our Customers.

We are a rental / hire and production services company based in Cardiff providing Sound and Video services to the Theatre, Corporate, TV and Events industries throughout the UK.We provide a comprehensive selection of audio and video equipment to suit the whole entertainment spectrum. SSS prides itself on a highly skilled and friendly team to support your needs.ent to suit the whole entertainment spectrum.

Sound

We are able to provide Speaker and PA hire/rental from small two speaker rigs and individual components such as CD/MD Players, Graphic Equalisers, Compessors/Gates, Amplifiers and Microphones to full line array systems. This includes the lastest digital desks from Yamaha and Digico, as well as computer based show control/playback systems such as SFX, QLab and CSC.

Video

We carry one of the largest UK fleets of an Panasonic professional projectors and accessories from 2K to 20K in both SD and HD along with a wide selection of lenses. We also provide a full range of bespoke media servers and show control systems such as Catalyst Media Server, QLab and Hippotizer and all the distribution, switching and control equipment in-between.

Flight Cases

Our in house Flight Case production facility allowing us to produce high quality bespoke flight cases from our Cardiff premises. This not only allows us unparalleled flexibility when working on our own projects and their deadlines, but also allows us to offer our customers bespoke cases to a standard that exceeds the demands of the rental environment as tried and tested by our own cases.
