My name is Sarah Wardley, and I live in Ipswich, Suffolk. 
I have been working for many years part time as an animal welfare assistant helping to care for dogs and cats and other animals at the 'Felixstowe Blue Cross animal centre'. Before this whilst I was studying dog psychology I was working in a pet store with a range of small animals, reptiles and fish.
 During my time spent working at the Blue Cross, i have worked with some animals who have came from all walks of life, some of which have had difficult pasts. Both cats and dogs alike, who needed a helping hand to find a new home.

I decided to start up Suffolk Active Paws after meeting a wonderful lady who needed somebody to look after her dog whilst she recovered from a major operation. After this, she referred me on to her friends who were going away on holiday and were nervous about leaving their cats in a cattery- and before I knew it things began to snowball and Suffolk Active Paws had been born.


I have studied many different animal care related courses over the years, and attended lots of seminars to try and enable me to care for animals in the most friendly and modern way.
