Established over 25 years ago, and going from strength to strength, we are an independent Freehouse.



We pride ourselves in offering more than good food, a warm welcome, comfortable surroundings, and a great menu. There is something for everyone and for any occasion from business meeting, family celebration or meal for two. No need for the full works, simply enjoy a latte, cask beer and a chat with friends in our comfortable bar.

The team is headed by Jane Kelly, passionate about The Tavernfayre, standards of service, quality of food and cask ales. "We always strive to go one further, we aim for quality, starting with our raw materials and suppliers to the wonderful team of young staff we employ." All our staff will go an extra mile to try and make your visit enjoyable.
