The Bridgeman Therapy Centre was established in 1981 in a large Victorian house along a tree lined road facing Mesnes Park close to Wigan town centre. The clinic is currently owned and run by Susan Capstick who has worked here since 2001, taking over in 2010. Since 1981 the clinic has developed and grown on its reputation for quality of service, value for money and truthfulness. The majority (90%) of patients are recommended by family or friends. Patients have returned year on year with new problems and in turn send their children. Patients comment after years of suffering "At last someone is listening to me - wish I had come ages ago "There are now three experienced, chartered physiotherapists each with their own special skill who have all been qualified over 15 years working daily in the clinic and three physios who attend on a consultancy basis for some of  our extended services. All our Physios are fully HPC registered and members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy CSP. There are seven treatment rooms with doors not curtains for privacy and parking on the road in front of the clinic for up to 3 hours on a paymeter.The clinic is accredited by Bupa, AXA, PPP and all other health schemes. All the physios do at least 30 hours a year continuous professional development and on going in house in service training and will only treat conditions in which they specialize.
