The Brook Inn is extremely pleased to boast a FIVE star food hygiene rating. Much of this is thanks to the work of our excellent chef, Pete. 

We buy little and often so that all our food is as fresh as it possibly can be and we are not carrying excessive stock. We do not attempt to create huge menus. We would rather do few items really well. Wherever possible, The Brook Inn will try to source ingredients for our menus from local suppliers. 

We feel it’s important to support the Devon economy, especially others who are also trying to operate small businesses. Currently we use the following local suppliers:

The Brook Inn is part of the Enterprise chain and all our drinks are purchased from them.As well as the usual items, we keep a very nice pint of Dartmoor Jail Ale from their brewery at Princetown on Dartmoor. Other guest ales have included Doom Bar and Otter Amber – also from breweries here in the South West.

We are more than pleased to quote for special occasions and events too.
