The Old Bookbinders is a family-run pub sitting deep in the heart of Jericho shying away from the hustle and bustle of Walton Street. Just a short walk away from the city centre, the historic suburb of Jericho is one of Oxford’s finest with a strong community feel and a reputation for its quirky nature.

One of Jericho’s few remaining pubs The Bookiesmanages to hold on to the charm and quirkiness of public houses from yesteryear.Re-opening its doors in 2011, the Sadones family tried to prove it was possible to serve quality food in a traditional pub atmosphere; wanting to avoid jumping on the “gastro-pub” bandwagon.

We serve food six days a week, keeping it simple in style and honest in price.We are dog, child and student friendly (as long as they’re well behaved) so bring the whole family and come say “Hello!” to Michel, Josh, Jacky and Belle; Jericho’s newest residents.
