Jennifer, who has worked in restaurants since the age of 17, while also studying at college and university in care, grew up with her parents running their own hotel and restaurant in Nottingham. In 2007 she met her partner Chris at a Restaurant they both worked at in Nottinghamshire. Christopher the head chef at the Station Restaurant was born in South Africa, and moved to Derbyshire in 1996, growing up with parents and grandparents that were very passionate about cooking. He decided to study at one of the best catering university’s in Derbyshire; Buxton College. He has also worked in other Michelin rated and AA Rosette Restaurants in the Nottingham and Derbyshire area.
