Stainton is small quaint village on the outskirts of Middlesbrough. It is surrounded by wonderful scenic countryside just waiting to be discovered, whether it be by car, walking or cycling. It is an ideal base to explore all the local attractions that the area has to offer. There is something to suit all ages.Local Areas of Yarm, Stokesley and Guisborough offer a scenic and very beautiful areas of interest.

The Stainton and hotel near Middlesbrough is a family run country residence. The current owners of property, Frankie and Deborah took over the tenancy in December 2008 , Many alterations and additions have taken place over the years, including the Restaurant which offers a varied menu with locally sourced ingredients and produce set in modern and traditional surroundings.

Live sports, pool table and darts board to keep you entertained whilst enjoying your favorite tipple, and each month we hold a fantastic Karaoke night which puts the X factor to shame.

We are within easy reach of the motorways heading to the Yorkshire Coast and the Yorkshire Moores. Newcastle’s and York’s attractions are a mere 30 minute drive away. Newcastle airport can be reached within 40 minutes.
