About Us
341 Jane Dowler and Nisha Srivastava, Owners of and Teachers at “The Yoga Lounge Manchester”. We feel blessed in having a passion for Yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic®. Why? Maybe we could just say: “Because it all seems so right, and it should be for everyone from young to old!” We started out practicing Yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic® on our own before meeting on a Yoga retreat in Sierra Nevada. At this time there were no other purpose built Hot Yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic® equipment studio in the U.K, so we did the poses at home, taught in our own fields and gained the respective qualifications and experience to put together this purpose built venture. As students of Yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic®, we receive countless benefits: physical, mental, emotional and deeper. As teachers of Yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic® we receive great satisfaction passing these blessings on to our own students.
And as studio owners, Yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic®
became an even bigger part of our life: a life of breath, of
thought-before-action, of service to others, and of being able to make a
positive contribution to this beautiful, sometimes crazy, but always
precious world of ours.
We simply believe that the world needs Yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic® and we are grateful for having been given a chance to help others find health and happiness.
