Topes is a modern British restaurant centrally located in Rochester High Street in Kent and was established in October 2004 by Chris Small, head chef and his wife Julie.
Chris, who has worked in several London City private dining rooms and West End restaurants and co-owner Julie, have created several different menus, including a special set price lunch and mid-week evening menu, a la carte menu for Friday and Saturday evenings and traditional roasts on Sunday. All ingredients are bought in fresh on a daily basis from local suppliers and the menus reflect seasonal produce. View or download the menus for more information.
The restaurant is set in a 15th, 16th and 17th Century building and many of the original features remain. However, the restaurant has a modern feel, to reflect the modern style of dishes on offer.
